Aquaculture cable is an abrasion-resistant marine cable used by fish farmers worldwide. It is used to supply power to culture cages, underwater lights and other offshore installations, and between them.

This green cable is made from selected materials and is designed for use in extreme weather conditions. In undisturbed installations it has a long expected service life. If the cable has to be replaced, this is usually due to physical damage rather than wear. The cable needs no conduit or pipe; it can be installed directly into the sea.

The outer sheath is made of highly abrasion-resistant PU (polyurethane) and encloses the individual conductor insulations. This construction makes the cable very robust and protects the copper from wear.
