Polyurethane cables are referred to as PUR cables; they are halogen-free and flame retardant, with higher mechanical and chemical resistance, which makes them suitable for harsh environments.

Our underwater series uses polyurethane as its sheath material, combining strong performance with the flexibility needed for underwater applications involving frequent or continuous bending.

This cable is gel-filled, with the gel applied over the braided shield or extruded on top of the foil shield. Because it is a gel, it flows and fills any gap or opening that appears, which makes it an effective long-term water-blocking solution for waterproof and underwater cables.
