The composite underwater cable consists of an RS485 communication cable and a power cable. The power section has 4 cores, with 0.5, 1.0 or 1.5 mm² available. The RS485 line is a single 24AWG twisted pair. As a subsea umbilical the cable is highly flexible and resists underwater pressure, seawater corrosion, low temperature, oil, UV exposure and abrasion; it is flame-retardant and has a long service life, which suits fast installation of underwater instruments and equipment.
