The composite underwater construction consists of a network camera cable, an RS485 communication cable and a power cable. The network element is normally Cat5, Cat5E, Cat6 or Cat6A. The power cores are usually 2-3 cores, with 0.5/1.0/1.5mm² available. The RS485 channel is one 24AWG twisted pair, a high-grade conductor for underwater applications.
