PDK81301-8×0.75 Underwater Power Cable, 8 Cores 0.75 mm², TPU Sheath, OD 9.9 mm

Underwater Power Cables · Marine & Subsea

Eight-core 0.75 mm² tinned copper power cable, XLPE insulation and TPU sheath, OD 9.9 mm, rated to 10 MPa water pressure for subsea distribution.

Built to project order: conductor cross-section and core count, shield type, sheath colour, length and print legend can all be adapted to the working conditions; technical parameters are subject to the specification document confirmed by both parties.

Product introduction

This product is an 8-core power-only watertight (submersible) cable designed for underwater systems that need several independent low-to-medium power circuits inside one compact cable, such as subsea sensor arrays, underwater lighting networks, junction boxes and marine instrument distribution. It supplies up to eight separate loads reliably while maintaining good watertight integrity, good flexibility and long-term resistance to seawater corrosion. No signal or fibre cores are integrated, which makes it well suited to applications that need multiple isolated power supplies under high hydrostatic pressure.

The cable uses a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) sheath designed for a long subsea service life. This TPU compound offers excellent abrasion, cut and tear resistance, good low-temperature flexibility (down to -40 °C) and good resistance to hydrolysis, oils, fuels and marine microbial attack, ensuring lasting performance in dynamic risers, tethers and fixed installations where the cable itself is not required to carry tensile load.

Well suited to:

Subsea sensor arrays and oceanographic instrument clusters

Underwater LED lighting networks (e.g. aquaculture, dive sites, pipeline inspection)

Marine junction boxes and subsea power distribution units

Auxiliary power for multiple tools or sensors on ROVs/AUVs

Offshore platform deck equipment requiring watertight bulkhead power feed-through

Scientific subsea observatories and cabled coastal monitoring systems

Any underwater application requiring up to 8 independent power circuits without signal wires, under extreme marine conditions and without mechanical tension requirements

This cable is designed to provide multiple isolated power channels under high water pressure, avoiding a separate power line for each device. It is a suitable choice for marine engineering, subsea instrumentation, underwater survey and offshore infrastructure power distribution.
