Product introduction

This cable is designed for the severe environment of pipeline inspection robots. It combines power transmission, high-fidelity video transmission and high tensile strength in one integrated solution, so that the tracked crawler operates reliably under the most challenging conditions.

Key features and benefits:

High tensile strength: the cable has a minimum breaking strength of 300 kg, enough to withstand the pulls encountered during long-distance pipeline inspection, preventing breakage and keeping the job continuous.

Integrated signal and power design:

Power conductors: 4 × 0.75mm² cores provide stable, reliable power for the robot and its on-board systems.

Video transmission: a central 75-3 low-loss coaxial cable maintains clear video signal integrity, which is essential for accurate visual assessment and decision-making.

Auxiliary signal and control: 4 pairs of 2 × 0.15mm² wires give flexibility for additional data communication, such as control signals, sensor data or PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera functions.

Durability: the robust TPU outer jacket offers good resistance to abrasion, oil, chemicals and moisture, which are common inside pipelines. Its sturdy construction ensures long-term reliability and reduces downtime.

Optimised for robot crawlers: the balanced design minimises torque and prevents kinking, which allows smooth paying out and spooling by the tether management system. This improves handling and reduces wear on both cable and robot.

Technical specifications:

Construction: 4 × 0.75mm² + 1 × 75-3 coax + 4 × 2 × 0.15mm²
